Announces the XStream platform (which seems to be BCM4709 + 3x BCM43602),
which is touted as Penta Core (each BCM43602 radio embeds a small processor
to allow for FullMAC operation, BCM4709 remains same dual-core Cortex A9 SoC)

The block diagram shown @ SNB indicates each BCM43602 includes
its own @ 320MHz Cortex R4 processor (along with 940 KB RAM).

Flashing Tomato

Flashing FreshTomato ARM7 2019.4

Upload via firmware restoration utility, after it seems like endless reboot. wait for lan lights to flash twice, the do a 30-30-30 reset using WPS button as reset button. Using the actual reset button for a 30-30-30 will put it in recovery mode.

When using WINscp change the file protocol from SFTP to SCP to connect.

Recovery/Rescue Mode

Set up the Router Rescue Mode

Take [RT-AC68U] as an example

Unplug the router's power cord.

Press the Reset button.

Keep long pressing the Reset button and plug the cord to DC IN at the same time.

Notice: Please DO NOT release the Reset button until the Rescue Mode is enabled.

The router turns to the Rescue mode when you see the power indicator light is slowly flashing.
