Overview
There would appear to be multiple (obvious / discernible) revisions / manufacturers / clones of this adapter.
The original may have no LEDs, a solid black plastic casing, and likely solely uses 00:E0:4C (Realtek) OUIs.
Another type would appear to have an always-on blue LED which shines through the semi-translucent red band on dongle (looks kind of cool). At least some of these use E8:4E:06 (EDUP) OUIs.
