Overview
This card is recognized in Windows as a...
- PCMCIA\Lucent_Technologies-WaveLAN/IEEE-0156-0002
- PCMCIA\Lucent_Technologies-WaveLAN/IEEE-C908
These devices would not seem to work with orinoco_cs when using the stock firmware.
- The non-working unit had PRI 2.04 (P1020401.HEX) and STA 3.04 (S1030400.HEX).
.. however, upgrading the firmware to PRI 4.00 (P1040000.HEX) and STA 6.06 (S1060600.HEX) - using the WLW2K601 driver set and its included firmware (WSU10606.EXE) - managed to get the device working w/ NetStumbler in WinXP and w/ orinoco_usb (monitor mode worked, scanning worked, and un-encrypted WiFi to an 11b AP worked in all of its 2Mbps glory).
