"MS6978-100" and "MADE IN TAIWAN" is silkscreened on the board in the FCC photos.
"Atmel Combo-USB AT567B1-2" printed on the Atmel chip.
- Per the FCC block diagram, this is an AT76C505.
The FCC block diagram also says the MSI MS-6980 (desktop adapter w/ external antenna) shares the same circuit design as the MS-6978.
