LAN Hardware: Qualcomm IPQ6010 built-in (PPE)
LAN Comment: 4x 1G via Qualcomm QCA8075 (PSGMII), 1x 2.5G via Qualcomm QCA8081. The socket labels run opposite to the switch port order; the device tree accounts for this. The 5G modem is a Quectel RG650E-EU on USB, not on PCIe.
WLAN Hardware: Qualcomm IPQ6010 (integrated)
WLAN Comment: 2.4 GHz 3 dBi, 5 GHz 6 dBi internal antennas. Board data ships via the ipq-wifi package; the per-device calibration comes from RouterBOOT hard_config.
Installation method(s):
Boot the initramfs image via RouterBOOT etherboot, then run sysupgrade.
Recovery Comment:
RouterBOOT sits in a separate SPI-NOR and is never written, so etherboot and MikroTik Netinstall always stay available.
Comment:
SUPPORT IS NOT MERGED YET - it is pending in pull request https://github.com/openwrt/openwrt/pull/24335. Ordering code S53UG+5HaxD2HaxD&RG650E-EU as read from the device's RouterBOOT hard_config (tag 0x05). The label on the case reads S53UG+5HaxD2HaxD-TC&RG650E-EU - the firmware does not carry the -TC. Micro SIM slot plus eSIM, 240 x 156 x 44 mm, operating temperature -40 to +70 degC.
