Overview

FCC

Per FCC test report PY313200233 (w/ Manual Tool v2.0.1.0 as the utility), the device seems to be…

Netgear requested FCC re-certification for the R7000 on December 17, 2018 under PY318300420 due to an internal redesign, likely as part of a drive to cut manufacturing costs. Some minor components (RAM, FEM, etc.) may have changed, but the same Broadcom chips are still used.

This device was under short-term confidentiality, but that expired 06/16/2019 ⚠.

Wi-Fi Alliance®

Netgear sought evaluation for two variants of the device shortly after launch and both received the CERTIFIED™ classification on March 7, 2014.
