This device is assumed to use CX53822-32Z. The 32-Z, however, is the only visible portion in the FCC photos.
- Per the manual, the code name of the hardware / platform appears to be Photon. The testing is indicated to have been done on a Windows CE 5.0 platform w/ Conexant's Manufacturing and Test Upper MAC driver (MTUM).
Two SKUs for the LA-5127 family are noted in the manual...
- LA-5127-1002 - external antenna version
- LA-5127-1020 - internal antenna version
Additional information the the manual..
- The Conexant MAC/BB has an ARM946E core.
- It is indicated that this chipset uses a ZIF radio architecture.
- An internal Linux driver for the device existed (requiring kernel 2.4.22 +).
- Targeted for Red Hat 9, sources and firmware were distributed
- getoid and setoid configuration and monitoring tools
The FCC sample label and the label affixed to the device in the C2PC made 09/27/2010 indicate that the device uses a 00:15:70 (Symbol) OUI.
