{{w|Wikipedia article name|link text|language code}}</nowiki>
, where
Wikipedia article name
is the name of the article in Wikipedia that the link should point to, and is the only mandatory parameter.link text
is the link text (any arbitrary text except the characters|
and=
; if such characters need to be present in the text, replace them with {{!}} and {{}}, respectively. If this parameter is not given,Wikipedia article name

Examples
{{w|Wi-Fi}}
produces a link to the "Wi-Fi" article in English-language Wikipedia: Wi-Fi
{{w|Wi-Fi|this technology}}
links to the same article ("Wi-Fi"), but the link text is not "Wi-Fi" but rather "this technology": this technology
{{w|Wi-Fi||de}}
produces a link to the article about Wi-Fi in Gegman-language Wikipedia: Wi-Fi. Note that the 2nd parameter is omitted, so the link text would be the same as the 1st parameter (i.e., "Wi-Fi").
