Overview
This device is used as the wireless module in the Chumby Silvermoon NeTV (FCC ID: VDCCHUNTLV).
bunnie also appears to have used the module in his ultra-badass open laptop design (though, indeed, current AR9271 / AR7010 firmware is not currently open.. though open firmware may be available sometime in the future open-source firmware is available on Qualcomm/Atheros official github account: [1]). More information on this device is (and will be) available on the Novena wiki (which, as of 04/2014, is now being crowdfunded)
