4804 Mbps - 4SS 5GHz 802.11ax (160MHz chan., 1024-QAM),
1148 Mbps - 4SS 2.4GHz 802.11ax (40MHz chan., 256-QAM) = AX6000 class

Overview

This device is likely an evolution of the ASUS GT-AX6000/ASUS GT-AC5400 development devices with an upgraded CPU. Many details for this device have been copied from the pages for those devices and are subject to change. Photos of pre-production devices show the RT-AX89X reusing the FCC id from the GT-AX6000 and ASUS will probably eventually issue a Class II Product Change Request for that ID to certify the RT-AX89X.
