Overview

The device appears to be single-stream and limited to HT20 modes (max rate of 65Mbps).

Per the FCC SAR report under the cellular bands,

  • WiFi is not operated when connected to a computer’s USB port.
  • WiFi is operated when connected to the USB port of the AC USB adapter.
  • This is a USB Dongle. Therefore, there is no voice transmission.

Per the FCC manual, the default SSID pattern is presumed to be C Spire 4G LTE Hotspot XXXX for C Spire branded units (is this device sold by any other carriers?).

Moderate (52 entries as of 03/22/2013) WiGLE data for the SSID, F4:63:49 (Diffon Corporation) OUI, last 4 chars are from the BSSID (upper case hex characters)
